Meet The Team

My name is Tiffany. I have been working with kids for the past 14 years. I am so humbled to get to do what I truly love for a living. I have been with Bright Stars Learning Academy as The Director and a teacher for the past few years. Watching the program grow has been amazing. I feel so blessed to not only have wonderful kids in the program but families as well. A few fun things about me, I love coffee, drawing, and music. I am a mom of 2 kids which keeps me super busy. On my days off you can find me on some type of bleachers, hiking or shopping. Thank you for letting me love all your babies. I’m one lucky teacher. 

My name is Hannah. I have been working at BSLA for two years. I started at the front desk and have since been blessed to work in almost every department offered. I am now the Afterschool/Camp Director and a recreational coach at OSEGA. I have learned so much about patience and grace working with these kids. It is one of the biggest honors of my life to learn with the kids I work with. When I’m not at OSEGA, I am enrolled in law school and aspire to be a criminal defense attorney. In Afterschool, we do outdoor and dramatic play and offer homework assistance, crafts, and STEM activities. Our classroom is a safe place for self-expression, exploration, and growth. We look forward to watching your child become part of our BSLA family!

Hello there, I am the Wee-K teacher and I just love my sweet class! I have been with BSLA for about 4 years now and I absolutely love teaching the kiddos here! My love for kids leads me to major in child psychology. I’m currently working really hard to make these dreams come true. When I’m not at Pre-K or College some things I enjoy are singing, coffee, movies, and puppies! 

Hi!! My name is Mrs. Kayla, and I am so proud to be the lead teacher of the Tiny Tots room at Bright Stars Learning Academy!! I am from Georgia, but so happy that my family and I ended up here in Asheville. I am a wife and mom to three beautiful girls. I love spending my time helping and watching young minds grow and learn in all areas of their development, including academic, social, language, and motor skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and listening to music.

Hello! I’m Mrs. Samantha aka Mrs. Sam and I’m the nursey teacher here at Bright Stars Learning Academy. My family and I are recent transplants from Spokane Washington and are loving all there is available to do here in WNC. We LOVE to eat and will gladly take any restaurant recommendations. I also love working with and welcoming all the smiling faces into our facility every day as well as spending time getting to know each kiddo’s individual personality and watching them grow. 

My name is Sydney and I have two kiddos (14 and 4). Rhyan joined Bright Stars two years ago and we absolutely love everyone and the atmosphere! I am an assistant teacher and have grown to love each of the kids. I love coming up with fun crafts and experimenting with the kids. I have been homeschooling both kids for the past 4 years. We enjoy being outside at the park or hiking, reading, and trips to Target. I feel so lucky to have this opportunity to get to know all of you and your kiddos!

Hi! My name is Rosie and I’m an Asheville local! I am also new to the BSLA TEAM and want to share a few things about myself. As the middle child of my siblings, caregiving has always been a part of my day-to-day. So, naturally, I turned to loving childcare as a profession. My childcare experience expands across all age groups including special needs. Currently, at BSLA, I’m helping out in the nursery room with teaching the babies to interact with one another, reading books to help with focus, listening, and language development but most importantly getting to know each baby and being a positive guide in a child’s life. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, planting, and also going on hikes with my two dogs woody and buzz. I’m also excited to announce that I will be given the opportunity to teach a Spanish program to teach about the culture and to introduce the kids to a few basic words and phrases to use in their day to day lives. I’m excited about what BSLA has in store.
